Product Description
SHG&SHF combination harmonic gearboxes are mainly structured by component sets. The cross roller bearing inside the harmonic drive is with high precision and high rigidity, it is used for holding (main bearing) external loading.
SHG&SHF series harmonic gearbox units are available in nine sizes with gear ratios of 50, 80, 100, 120 and 160:1. These harmonic drive gearboxes are ideal for highly dynamic applications, such as in robot axes.
The integrated output bearing with high tilting capacity enables the direct attachment of heavy payloads without the need for further support. SHG/SHF-2UH harmonic drive is fully sealed with a large hollow shaft diameter to feed through supply lines, shafts or cables for further drive systems.

FAQ
Q1: What are the main applications of the SHG&SHF harmonic gearboxes?
These gearboxes are ideal for highly dynamic applications, particularly in industrial robot axes, due to their high torque density and zero backlash capabilities.
Q2: Do these gearboxes require external support for loads?
No, they feature an integrated output bearing with high tilting capacity, allowing for the direct attachment of heavy payloads without additional support.
Q3: What gear ratios are available for this series?
The SHG&SHF series units are available in nine sizes with standard gear ratios of 50:1, 80:1, 100:1, 120:1, and 160:1.
Q4: How does the hollow shaft design benefit the installation?
The enlarged hollow shaft allows you to feed through supply lines, shafts, or cables directly, ensuring a compact, space-saving, and highly flexible design integration.
Q5: Is there any backlash in the SHG&SHF series?
No, the SHG&SHF series is designed to provide zero backlash, ensuring excellent positioning and rotation accuracy.
Q6: What is the typical service life of these harmonic gears?
These gears are engineered for long service life and high reliability, confirmed by many years of successful service across a wide torque range.
